Standard Two-Year Warranty:

Our standard two-year warranty covers all workmanship and is offered with whole roof installations. In the event that there is a problem within the first two years, RoofCorp will take care of the problem at no cost to the homeowner.

This applies to all labor costs, and usually all materials (subject to manufacturer warranties which may apply.)

Five and Ten Year Warranties:

The five and ten year plans are an extension of the two year plan and offer the same coverage benefits for a longer period. These warranties are offered to home owners who wish to enjoy the extra peace of mind of an extended protection period.

Five Year Roof Certification:

Roofcorp offers a five year roof certification, at no charge, for all whole roof installations.

The 5 year certification is often needed when a property is being sold. The underwriter for the buyer's mortgage company will usually want to make sure that the roof on the property will last atleast 5 years. The five year roof certification is not an extension of the workmanship warranty. The workmanship warranty period is stated separately on our contract. The certification is a statement that they overall condition of the roof is such that, with ongoing repairs and maintenance, the roof surface should last atleast five years.

The certification was originally required by some mortgage underwriters when an existing roof was not being replaced. However, in recent years, it has been requested by many underwriters and realtors for every sale. Whenever a new roof is being installed, this certification should be redundant

Any new roof, regardless of shingle grade, should have a shingle surface that will last more than 5 years. However, if our customers need a certification for whatever reason, we will be happy to provide it at no charge!
